The Sailmate S-P20Z by Sakura-Stitch has fast become our most popular machine since we began selling in May 2020. Being a heavy-duty, portable, walking foot machine that sews both straight and zig-zag stitch, it is typically sold to boat owners. The machine is extremely versatile, capable of sewing from jean hems up to heavy canvas, as well being suitable for upholstery fabric, vinyl, sailcloth and light leather. For ease of portability, the machine is supplied in a plastic carry case with a drop-down work platform.

With the added feature of a large, solid steel handwheel installed from the factory, this provides the machine with increased torque and greater control, as well as giving you the ability to crank the machine by hand if you are ever without power. A 10mm foot lift height, 6mm maximum stitch length and 5mm maximum zig-zag width, will have you sewing a wide array of projects. The option to move your needle positioning between centre, left and right will allow you to sew zips with ease.

All machines are set-up in our workshop here in Queensland and are supplied complete with an electronic variable speed foot control, packet of needles, 4 bobbins, tool kit, instruction/parts manual and a two-year warranty.
